last week, I asked customers and prospects a number of questions (“CEM-survey 2012 Q1″) that had to do with their priorities and their worries in their business.

We just finished analysing the results and they are really great. We learned a lot. Again “thank you” to those of you that worked together with us on this.

In the next few days and weeks we will use the results to develop this online/mobile responsive design based on that input. So great.

I just tested this new WP-plugin that manages multiple WP-sites/blogs. I am looking already for some time for a plugin that keeps all my classic & mobile WordPress-blogs/sites up to date.

There are other things out there, but often you pay a monthly fee. So I was rather interested to see if this WP-plugin worked.

What is a responsive design for your website.

Well, in order to make sure that most smart consumers are able to watch your site on any smartphone or whatever device they use, website designers now design sites that transform the lay-out so that it adapts (“responsive”) itself to the screen-resolution of the device smart consumers are using.

This makes sure that the lay-out of your site can be viewed by smart consumers on mobile devices, tablets and computer screens adjusting the resolution to each specific design.

So that is what is called “a responsive design” of your website. In this way, www.tonydebree.com (beta) has a responsive design. It is a responsive wordpress-site/blog.

something I learned already a long time is ago is that many customers, employees, partners, family and friends know much more than I do. And they can do things that they are much better at than I am. And you know what? That is great. If we all bring our unique knowledge and skills together, then we can do a lot of things. Don’t you agree?

A lot of people ask me what a Customer Experience is. Well. That’s actually rather easy.

As a consumer or corporate customer we are interacting with a provider of goods and services in a number of ways. Online and offline. And that can be a good or a bad experience. It’s about the emotion or feeling that you as customer have during or after that contact/interaction with that provider (think about how the guy in the video about outsourcing at Burger King feels.

The customer (in this case a woman with a small child on her lap) can interact with  (“touch”) the provider and his or her organisation in many different ways: by phone, through the Net on websites, in an office, receiving emails, face-to-face, through brochures and more and more through social media and smartphones and other mobile devices. We call those points of contact “touchpoints”.

It is easy to understand why it is important to make sure your customers have as many good experiences as possible and to make sure that in this very competitive and connected world we live in, the bad experiences are repaired as quick as possible.

customers, prospects & other people regularly ask me while talking over de phone, through Skype or face-to-face what my experiences as a customer are with certain suppliers. If I know somebody who…. Or my opinion about software, eBooks, wordpress-plugins, wordpress-themes and for instance business books they should read.

Now, on the contrary to what many people (including the so-called “gurus”) online and offline do, I always share my real customer experiences with especially my customers and my prospects.

Like I always so “people or things I am really a fan about” and that I would recommend to my family and friends.

I for instance spoke with a customer recently using Skype. I gave her two ideas: 1 piece of free software and one more expensive piece of software that I use myself (but do not get commissions on by the way).

So that is why I call the reviews “honest reviews.” Ok?
