Why “it’s all about people”?
I don’t know about you but many people around me are losing their jobs. In the public and in the private sector. And I hear the same thing from customers and partners online and offline. Large and small. The recession is impacting the lives of people globally everyday. Don’t you agreed?
In this new connected world we live in, with mobile Internet, video, audio, social media and social networks like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google+ and recently Pinterest, there are exciting opportunities for new business development. And especially in m-commerce. With innovative new ways of mobile working and for new unique mobile business models with your customers and partners worldwide. If you do the right things at the right moment.
However, as I have experienced offline and online, technology is great, but at the end of the day, it’s all about people. About your relationships. About how good you are at listening and at working together with your customers and partners. Co-creating and collaboration across the traditional boundaries of large companies in for instance my former global working environment, Financial Services between 1985 and 2011 (look at my profile on LinkedIn here), Publishing and Education and Training in business schools and universities. Or on your own as many of my mobile/online customers, working from home. Anywhere, anytime anyplace.
And that is why I chose the slogan for my logo: “it’s all about people”. Because that is the way to do business in 2013 and after that. Together with you as a customer and a partner in our new connected World. Let’s start working together today, ok? Click here.
Have a nice day!
