What are ‘Social Stories’?

Definition:

“Social Stories’ are short stories in the form of blogs, audiofiles or different types of videos that are shared  on differen different social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, WhatsApp and LinkedIn for instance”.

Why are ‘social stories’ so popular and effective?

The reasons why ‘social stories’ are so popular and effective is that:

1) It is a great way to build and enhance your personal brand;

2) You can position yourself as a honest and authentic person.

3) It is great way to establish yourself as an expert in a specific knowledge domain.

4) You can transmit valuable knowledge and experience in a great way.

5) You can use social stories for personal storytelling.

6) You can use social storytelling in your marketing activities online and offline.
