Famous people always have a lot of followers and a lot of people that want to connect to them on LinkedIn or Instagram for instance. They also have a lot of people that provide comments to their posts and that ‘Like’ their posts. These people have an influence in their field, in their industry and sometimes even have a global impact with their personal brand. And they use that to enhance their personal brand and their sales of course.
Most of us will never become so famous as these people, but we can become a very important ‘micro-influencer’.
A ‘micro-influencer’ is:
“an influencer with just a few thousand follows, but in the right niche with the right profile that can nevertheless command the same kinds of endorsement rates and that can drive sales as people that have millions of followers”.
Everybody can become a ‘micro influencer’, if you position your personal brand in the right way and if you provide real value to the right customers, to the right niche. This is a far more achievable goal and trying to become a huge influencer like Bill Gates, but one that can allow you to make money online and offline from doing what you love and with your unique knowledge and skills.
